GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) turns over P1-M worth of medicines to GMA Kapuso Foundation.
In line with its mission to help people do more, feel better, and live longer, GSK, through its Value Health Program, recently donated medicines for common bacterial infections such as bronchitis and tonsillitis to the GMA Kapuso Foundation. By supporting the Foundation’s regular medical and healthcare missions nationwide, GSK hopes to reach more Filipinos in need of these essential medicines. Launched in 2004, the Value Health program offers significant price reductions for GSK’s original branded medicines that treat common ailments and was established in response to Filipinos’ need for improved access to high quality and affordable medicines. Present during the turnover were GSK Vice President for Value Health Daisy Cembrano (left) and Ms. Christina Betonio, Project Manager for GMA’s Kapuso Foundation.
